Resuming Campaign

Some of you may have heard that I had to temporarily suspend my campaign earlier this week because my wife went into labor.  I’m here to tell you that the rumors are true:  I’m now the proud papa of a beautiful baby girl named Avah.  She was born at 12:09am on Tuesday morning, weighing 8 lbs. 1 oz. and measuring 21 inches long.

Now that mama and baby are safely at home, I’m able to officially resume campaigning.  I’ll be posting some pictures of Avah later today so that everyone can see my precious little girl, and I’ll also be spending a lot of time responding to missed calls, emails, etc. while I was incommunicado.

I want to bring to everyone’s attention the event I added a moment ago to the campaign event calendar.  The event I added was the MS 9-12 Reclaimers Meetup event with me being held on August 31st at Western Sizzlin in Laurel.  I would love for everyone that can attend to come out and show your support for my campaign and also to ask questions from me.  The most important thing we can do right now is to speak the truth in our words and actions and show everyone in South Mississippi what principled leadership is really all about.

Congrats on the baby. I am also glad to see all you stand for. You have my support.
